Today I was getting ready for dinner, when the bell rang, it was a man, with a dufflle bag,, trying too sell some household items, he has a identification card with it’s license,, in the back was a picture of his children.

He was very apologetic and ID himself right away, I noticed he had a speech impediment, and felt sorry for him, after all it was raining and here was this guy going from place to place trying to earn a few bucks.

I usually hate door salesman, in US they usually sent by big corporations trying too squeeze even more money out of you.

I was not interested,, so politely declined.

But as I went upstairs my own life hit me, here I am complaining I just got a huge job offer, but would mean Ii had too move, but I dont want to, or how I recently complained my profits were down .. profits,, not loss ..

How blind are we all .. some of us (like me) live life on a silver platter, we complaint we have less,, but never have to worry about complaining to have none.

A huge rush of guild overcame myself,, I had to find that man and buy something, why ? .. didn’t matter ..

So I ventured outside and fin ally found him, Instead of buying anything I just gave him 5� and told him too buy something for his kinds, and good luck

Why ?, was it about me feeling better about myself ?, yes,, probably .. but it’s also for the same reason I cant pass a beggar on the street widouth giving him a coin, or how I cant stand to see an animal or a child in need .. I am so blessed, but also am a pompass idiot, and sometimes I need others in need to remind me of it.

Got a new roommate last Sunday ..

He’s a quiet guy, and very quiet, which is great .. he also is very respectful, when he wants a smoke, he goes outside .. thank god .. I cant stand the smell of smoke, I washed all my clothes, but I can sill smell smoke from the old roommate’s habit of smoking in the house

Got a IM a couple of days ago, it was the old roommate .. seems he realized he had done a mistaque and is going to return to the UK .. he wanted me to sell his puter back.

Just typical .. the guy drops everything, puts me on the spot with 500� extra in rent to pay, I inherited all the bills,, and I should be understanding about it ?

I said no (need the puter anyway, I sold the laptop) .. and I don’t feel bad .. people need to grow up.

The past few days have been extremely boring, my roommate has left to India, and I am now living alone .. and by god do I hate it.

Now I miss Sally and the kids more than ever, with nobody to talk to their absence is even more evident .. I cant wait till next year when they move over.

Today I just had to get out of the house, so i went downtown .. visited the Spice Shop I had seen on Morgan’s Arcade .. it was nice, it;s more of a organic/health food place, but with some nice spice racks .. I will defenately go back, some of their cheeses and “enchidos” looked superb
I now realize that I must get out of the house as often as possible, when I go out for a walk I feel much better, its not good to just sit on the house alone for days on end .. it’s too depressing.

Taxman sent me some forms for the company, they don’t waste time over here (UK) .. guess I will check with an accountant soon, so I can make sure to do everything by the book.

My roommate dropped a bomb on me yesterday, he is in trouble so he is bailing out of the country, I kind of knew something bad was coming, he has been unable to find a job for a while now and his problems just seems to keeping adding up.

I feel sorry for the guy, hope he has better luck in India (where he is heading)

We spoke with the landlord and straiten it up, so I am kind of stuck at paying for the rest of the lease by myself ..
On another hand, I bought his PC off him for 100�

Today I found this Comic Book store downtown called “Forbitten Planet” .. real cool plane.

One of the things they had that I could not turn down was a Simpsons “Duff beer” water Cooler .. so I had to buy it ..

Very nice, it cools the water real nice and looks great on my desk

I was a bit fedup with using a dining room set as my desk, so Today I was finally able to just go to IKEA and get me a desk and Chair.

The Desk was 75� the Chair was 65� .. the Magazine and CD holders where 9�

I got this desk because I can make it higher than the standard desk, which means my back wont arch when I am working.

I feel that now I can finally work

I went to check Swansea (Wales) today.

The city looks nice, the downtown doesn’t have as much flair as Cardiff does, but it’s very nice neither the less ..

The main differences I saw is that Cardiff is very well compacted downtown, Swansea is a bit more spread, it actually gives the impression of having a Larger topografic area than Cardiff, I don’t believe it does,, the seem to be about the same, but Swansea has 100K less people.

The price difference between the two cities can be as high as 40% (Real Estate) .. so unless I find a major deal in Cardiff, Swansea might be the only choice we got … we will see as I scour more of the vicinity during the upcoming months.
