Just another worthless blog
Bit to go here, one of these days

Sunday night I went to the Movies to see “Batman Begins”
I loved the Batman’s with Michael Keaton, was quite unimpressed by the one with Val Kilmer .. and totally skipped Batman & Robin.
This one (for my taste) is the best one yet .. I’m not a movie reviewer, I just know what I like.
The movie is quite dark, but on a good way, and it gives credibility to the character “Bruce Wayne” as a man strong enough to fight crime, as it shows his training on becoming a .. err .. ninja
..
I will definitely grab the DVD when it comes out ![]()

Today Parcel Force arrived with my DVD’s from the US .. man, the box was quite heavy .. 212$ for shipping (could have been cheaper if I sent it by boat, but this way was safer.
There was other stuff on the box of course, so it was worth the price of shipping.
So I spend over an hour entering them all into Delicious Library .. I love that program .. so according to it, I have 127 DVD’s .., today I really wished I had a iSight .. as entering all those DVD’s by hand was a chore .. with iSight I would have just scan the tags
I have use DeliciWeb to export the to HTML format .. so I can post it on the site (actually, been doing that for a while) .. the link to the DVD collection is HERE.

Today I found this nifty program called DeliciWeb .. basically it can grab my Library items from Delicious Library and generate the HTML code to put them online.
Unfortunately my DVD collection is still in FL .. I only have a few items here in the UK .. but here is what I got over so far …

Just watched Van Helsing last night.
Bought the DVD from PLAY.COM .. they had a special, so it only cost 7.99 .. not bad.
The movie itself was just great, what a cool story, of a man who is summoned by an order of the Vaticann to go out and destroy mitological monsters.
In a chaotic world like we live today, it is good to just immerse on a good fantasy story that takes one away from the every day struggle, I am sick and tired of movies about the problems people face every day, I know what those problems are, I don’t need to sit down to watch a movie just to be reminded of how much life can suck ![]()
I loved the movie, and from the looks of the end, I would bet they will be making a sequel, the graphics on the movie are some o the best I ever saw, the only disappointment [warning, spoiler] is at the end when they burning the girl’s dead body, the cheesy effects of her ascendance to heaven ..
But all and all, this is a movie I am certainly to be watching again in a few months .. highly recommended ![]()

Recently I bought the book “The Da Vinci Code” in Portugal (Azores) ..
I just read it last week .. and man was it GOOD .. Dan Brown’s writing is very easy to read, and it’s plots remind me of Crichton, well researched and interesting fiction with a twist of truth ![]()
So yesterday while in Swansea, I noticed a 3 for 2 sale on his books, so I had to grab the remaining 3 from his collection
- Deception Point
- Digital Fortress
- Angels and Demons
I started reading the last one, it features the same character (Robert Langdon)as “The Da Vinci Code”.. I have read 120+ pages since last night already, and within another 2 nights of reading I shall be done, so far it’s as great as “Da Vinci” ..
Good reading ![]()
