Thiago has redone the toon he made for me, it’s more in line with what I had envision, a caricature look, vs a rendered look
What a great artist he is .. love it.

Cant wait to see the final drawings of the whole family.

These and the other girl’s sketches are to be used in the header of my family photoblog, that we been keeping for a few years now.

The sketches look great, my own needs to change the eyes (they a bit small on the design) but overall I am very please with his work

I quite like it, just the two of us, walking forward and never looking back, just like my life’s philosophy, and hopefully, my girl’s philosophy as well, Life is too short for regrets and “if only…” remarks .. yes, granted I too sometimes get trapped in the past, but I feel that looking towards the future is always so much more fun.

A few days ago I posted here the sketch an artist friend of mine had done for my daughters, I was not happy with one of the girl’s design.

Tonight he just gave me an updated version of her, and sure looks much better (well, looks more like her)

A Brazilian artist friend of mine is designing some toon caricatures of my family, he sent me the first draft of my 3 daughters, the one on the left can use some work, but the other two are right on the money

This is the first sketch .. still allot of work to be done, but impressive neither the less, if they look “Disney” like, it’s on purpose

We decided to go by the Outlet Stores to do a little shopping, when we got there we went by the children’s play area so the kids could run around for a little bit .. unfortunately they decided not to return the favor.

Within half an hour they started to misbehave, acting up as real brats do.

I am still unsure why, one had had a nap, but she was still refusing to walk at times .. so it’s not as if she was tired, while the other was just on a pissed-off mood ..

The problem with having little kids is that your social life all but disappears .. you cant go anywhere without them acting up.

My kids are very young, one is to be 2, the other is to be 3 .. and I understand it’s a trying time .. but one still get very upset over it, another couple of years and it will be easier I am sure, but for now .. it’s delivery chinese for dinner instead of dinner at a restaurant, and home watching TV instead of Star Wars III on the big screen …

Is it still illegal to sell kids on ebay ??

My Wife and Daughters have finally arrived in the UK this past Tuesday morning.

It was great to see how much the kid had missed me, even the youngest one who is less than 2 years old, and I thought she would have forgotten me.

The only thing that was bad was the fact they came by Gatwick .. on the way home I got stuck on traffic on Motor-way #25 .. it took me 45 minutes to go 30 miles.

This week we finally got the tickets for Sally and the Girls to fly to the UK.

They will leave FLA on the 9th of May .. and Arrive at 6:30 AM on the 10th .. even so the flight itself is 7 hours, due to the time-zone shift, they will arrive 12 hours after they leave.

One of our friends (Betty) will accompany Sally and the girls on their trip here, while her husband Jim, will come a week earlier (2nd) .. so we can just hang out for a while before everybody arrives.

I’m very excited, I have been away from the family for way too long, and cant wait to see my daughters .. about time our family reunites.

We will have been apart for 8 months, an incredible long time .. but it had to be done now while the girls are still young, a few months on and they wont remember they were ever apart from me.

On a lighter note .. I need to enjoy my last semi-bachelor days .. when the girls arrive, I’ll have my hands full (and happy to).

What can I say .. it’s the joys of parenthood ..

A few months back we bought two MLP (My Little Pony) duvet covers for the girls, I have kept it in storage, but since their arrival time is fast approaching (they are in FLA at the moment) I decided it was time to fix the room and put them out.

Came out nice, I am sure the girls will love it ..

Yesterday I went to visit a local school for one of my daughters, she suppose to start school next September.

The school itself was beautiful, looked very safe, the staff was very friendly and the Head Teacher was knowledgeable and helpful.

By all accounts this is probably were my daughter will be starting her studies, but I still got a few other schools to check first, but it will be hard to top this one.
