Because some of my statues are quite large, such as the TMNT from Prime 1 and the Xionart Deadpool, I needed a display cabinet that was over 50cm in depth, as such I settled on the Ikea PAX system, I have also asked for a few quotes form the local builders, but their prices are coming 3x more expensive than Ikea, so seems Ikea is the way to go.
Once I received them, they will be fitted with 45 degree LED strips, one on each shelf, and I am still looking for glass/acrylic doors to fit.
I decided to make a mockup in Sketchup to understand how much space I have, and it’s clear I will run out of space in no time, so as my collection grows, additional ones will be purchased, hard will be finding the space for them all, but once the second stage of the Azores house is done, that won’t be an issue.
