f0i0 is full of gorgeous shots of the city. Though his dialogue doesn't quite have the same polish, he does have Allen's knack for sterling ensemble casts; even when the banter doesn't bounce, the actors are completely engaging. Even Miller, who's been so annoying in her earlier movies, is sweet and sympathetic. Charles in particular is superb, but everyone contributes to making this an enjoyable romantic comedy.
