Today I received the new HD camera I bought on Friday, I was quite surprised, as I bought it from Honk Kong .. 3 days (weekend) to get here, and not customs charge … nice.
Since we are off on holiday to Paris next month, I wanted a new video camera to use there, when I read this one also took 8MP photos, I was hooked, plus the pistol grip style and small format, it was a winning combination.
But I had to wait 2 months for it, as it was announced on january, but just released a week or so ago 🙂
Preliminary tests show the quality is amazing, I was a bit afraid of the lack of Optical Stabilization, but the digital stabilizer seems to do a good job, so I will stop worrying about it and just enjoy the camera.
Also saved 150 quid over the UK price 😀 (not that you can buy it in the UK yet)
